*UPDATED PROTOCOLS- 11/11/2020
With the increase in cases of Covid-19 in Erie County, we have decided that at this time we are changing our protocol slightly to better protect our clients and staff.
We are going back to a locked door policy where you will have to call when you arrive. At that time clients will be let in the waiting room one at a time, on alternating sides and only one pet owner will be allowed to accompany the patient in the building. A mask must be worn at all times. The technician will take your pets history and go over what you are here for and then your pet will be taken into the back-treatment area for their exam while you remain seated in the waiting room. The doctor will then speak to you in person after the examination and discuss your visit.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding at this time. We know that this is a inconvenience, but we are trying to find ways to still let people in the building and remain current on up to date social distancing protocols.
Suburban South Veterinary Hospital understands the unique relationship between you and your pet. We treat our own pets like royalty and will roll out the red carpet for yours, too. Attention: Canine Lyme Disease (CLB) is a relative newcomer of the tick-borne diseases documented to infect dogs. Please remember to vaccinate your pets against lyme disease (Lyme borreliosis) carried from Deer Ticks. In our area, the deer population is growing at a rapid rate. Yearly testing for lymes disease and vaccinations are strongly recommended.
