Suburban South Veterinary Hospital: Healthy Living for Your Pet

With the increasing concerns over COVID-19, we are making some additional changes to our protocols effective Monday, March 23, 2020. These changes have not just our clients best interests in heart but also our staff as well.

I

We just wanted to update everyone on our current protocol as of currently- These changes have not just our clients best interests in heart but also our staff as well.
In order to enter our building, you must be wearing a mask. No one will be allowed to enter with out one. If you come and forget one, please call the office and we can either bring your animal inside and do the exam with you waiting in the car or we can provide a mask for you.
To ensure that we keep the amount of people in the clinic at a time to a minimum, please call the office at 716-668-0503 when you arrive for your appointment and a receptionist will tell you when it is ok for you to enter the building with your animal. We are allowing one pet parent per pet to accompany them into a exam room and you must stay in the designated areas as instructed by the technicians.
For medication and food pick ups, you can either come in the building with a mask on and get it or it can be done through a drop box and pre-payment over the phone can be arranged. We can also take pre-payment over the phone for pet food and if you call when you arrive at the clinic to pick up, a staff member will bring it out to your vehicle for you.
As mentioned before, we are encouraging people to utilize our online store for your prescription and food needs right now if you can.
We appreciate all your patience and consideration at this time and hope you all understand.
Thank you & stay healthy.

Attention: Canine Lyme Disease (CLB) is a relative newcomer of the tick-borne diseases documented to infect dogs. Please remember to vaccinate your pets against lyme disease (Lyme borreliosis) carried from Deer Ticks. In our area, the deer population is growing at a rapid rate. Yearly testing for lymes disease and vaccinations are strongly recommended.
